The Annual BPI Classical Committee / PPL Quiz in aid of Nordoff Robbins and the LPMAM Ukrainian Bursary Student Scheme returns for its eighth year - Wednesday 23rd November from 6pm in The Flamingo Room, upstairs at O’Neill’s, 33-37 Wardour St, London W1D 6PU.

The eighth running of the BPI Classical Committee’s ever-popular quiz will be compered by Mark Wilkinson, with healthy competition no doubt in search of our glamorous trophy!

The night offers a great chance to get together with friends and colleagues – an enormously enjoyable way of raising money for not one but TWO causes this time. Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy work with people of all ages and with a range of conditions. To see how their work changes lives for the better, watch this video. This year we will be sharing the money raised between Nordoff Robbins and an amazing initiative from the London Performing Academy of Music (LPMAM) to provide a bursary for Ukrainian students. LPMAM are supporting 80 Ukrainian students, of which 51 have managed to safely cross the border so far. 26 have arrived in the UK while the others are waiting to be matched with more UK Visa sponsors. These students require bursaries of £9,000 each to continue their studies at the London Performing Academy of Music (LPMAM). To see the wonderful work being done, you can watch this video

There will once again be a raffle on the night (with debit and credit cards once again allowed and encouraged!), with an array of exciting spot prizes, all for £5 a ticket / £20 a strip of five. We would also encourage you to order food in the Flamingo Room from 6pm, as you can settle in your seat in the knowledge that every penny you spend will count towards the final bar tally – which ensures we get our venue deposit back. The food is good, too!

If you are interested in taking part, teams should be five or six strong, and the cost is £200 per team. If you have less than five people don’t let that put you off, as the organisers may be able to match you up with someone on a table for an appropriate donation. Tables and spare places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

We would also welcome donations of raffle prizes. Box sets are lovely – but we welcome and encourage other, even more imaginative prizes! You don’t have to bring them to the event, they can be sent out separately.
