One day, people are going to call James Smith an “overnight success” – but, as always, that success is going to come from years of hard work, grafting and building a fanbase from scratch.

His first single – “Little Love” – was released in 2018 to critical acclaim, but it was the follow-up single “T-Shirts” which has been his most successful to date, reaching almost 15M streams on Spotify alone. Since then, he’s been touring Europe and played a sold-out show at The Borderline in London as well.

Latest single “Hailey” documents witnessing someone (in this case, Hailey) after a break-up, believing that you could make them so much happier if you were together. It’s an emotive and powerful song which showcases not only James Smith’s powerful vocals, but also mature song-writing ability.
