Singer-songwriter Sam Fender is starting to catch the attention of all the right people.

Born and raised in Newcastle, he first came to surface with debut single “Play God” which was recorded in his garden shed. The song (which now boasts over 1.3M streams on Spotify) is an impressive entry for a debut act and, in one 3min46secs soundbite, displays why Fender is the future – the passion, emotion and spirit of his music is just so powerful.

Rising through the ranks, from gigs at local pubs to supporting the likes of Catfish & The Bottlemen, Hozier and George Ezra, follow-up singles over the past year include “Millennial” (in which Fender sings about the portrayal of young people in the news), “Greasy Spoon” and “Start Again”.
