Hidden in a bedroom somewhere in West Sussex is a singer-songwriter with a voice, and song writing ability, to die for.

Maisie Peters first gained attention with her YouTube videos, only where most artists upload videos of them performing pop covers, for almost two years, Maisie posted only original songs – a risk worth taking, as tens of thousands of viewers and soon-to-be super fans emerged.

Debut single “Place We Were Made” introduced Maisie as a self-reflective acoustic musician with promise, however her follow-up “Birthdays” set her apart as a promising, mature artist who’s storytelling ability would have most songwriters envious.

“I’m just a fool who spent her birthday all alone”. “Birthday” it’s a heart-breaking account of, just that: heartbreak. It’s also, hopefully, a sign of what is to come from our new favourite emerging talent.
