Alongside the BPI, participating organisations at the event at Leeds Belgrave Music Hall include Arts Council England, PRS Foundation, Youth Music and Kycker.
Panels include: Managing Your Music Industry, Getting Good People Around You, and In Conversation with Alan McGee and Korda Marshall. This will be followed by networking and live events.
Shaun Arnold YMF Founder, said:
"This will be our sixth year of the YMF Convention and once again we are proud to have the support of the BPI as we have had in all our years."
Chris Tams, BPI’s Director of Independent Member Services & International, who will be attending and presenting for BPI, said:
“Yorkshire has always proved a fertile place for British music – some of our greatest UK talent ranging from Arctic Monkeys to Richard Hawley, and Yard Act to Mercury Prize shortlisted Self-Esteem, hail from the region, so being able to engage with key figures through YMF becomes more important each year.”
