In a new session for BPI members, key players at the Official Charts Company will run through what every artist and label needs to know to make an impact on the industry’s official charts.
The Official Charts Company compiles more than 30 charts on behalf of the music industry covering a range of genres and sectors, including the blue riband Official Singles Chart and Official Albums, the Independent Charts, Independent Breakers, Record Store Chart, plus rundowns showcasing rock, dance, classical, Christian & gospel, Americana, and much more.
But the company is not just about charts – Official Charts Online represents the most comprehensive database of sound recording data for the UK market in existence, featuring critical data spanning physical sales, downloads, audio streams, video streams, covering more than 26 years of music consumption.
Led by CEO Martin Talbot, head of operations (and chart rules ninja) Chris Austin and commercial manager Rob Poole, this session will answer all of the most critical questions:
• Who are the Official Charts Company?
• How do the charts work?
• How can their data make a difference to your business?
On top of all that, the Official Charts will also be announcing a special data offer perfectly tailored for independent BPI members.
The webinar will take place at 4pm on 10th November and BPI members can book their ticket here.
