Leicester-based Easy Life have started attracting significant attraction this year with their brand of indie-pop music.

Having formed in late 2017, shortly after the band signed a deal with Island Record and have just released their debut mixtape “Spaceships”. When we say “band” we do mean… a BAND! Between the five members (Murray, Sam, Cass, Louis and Jordan) they sing and play the bass, saxophone, drums, guitars, percussion and keys.

Whilst their new mixtape is impressive, it’s 2018’s “Nightmares” which caught our attention. The straight-forward lyrics and almost-humorous way of singing about not being able to sleep at night makes Easy Life a welcome addition to the indie-pop landscape.

If 2018’s success (which included a sold-out UK tour and TV debut on Jools Holland) is anything to go by Easy Life are due to have a big breakthrough moment.
