Brighton’s Bobbie Johnson is genuinely unlike any other artist we’ve featured on BPI’s Future Fresh before.

The producer and rapper combines hip-hop, grime and garage to produce massive sounds which combine such a variety of influences that you can’t help but feel uplifted. For example, on single “Bang” she combines garage aesthetics with a grime beat and adds in a violin/sting section into the mix too. All on top of hard-hitting rap verticals.

Johnson’s energy is proving itself to be infectious – following support slots with the likes of Rag’n’Bone Man, and a consistent string of shows under her belt, her fan base is rising with every show she commands.
