Rising from Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire is indie-rock band ‘Blushes’ – a four-piece consisting of Bradley (Vocals, Guitar), Jacob (Drums), Tiffany (Vocals, Synthesiser) and Sonny (Guitar).

When it comes to new bands, oftentimes there’s an identity issue resulting in a mixed bag of singles which are difficult to relate to one another. Blushes seem to have cured that ill, with their sun-kissed imagery and stellar string of songs which you can imagine being chanted back at Alexandra Palace.

Off of their latest EP, “Private Viewing”, ‘To The Bone’ is our favourite track. Something reminiscent of Foals or Peace; a pop-inspired track with clear vision and identity. It’s a track for those teen house parties, which may be playlisted somewhere near “Let’s Dance To Joy Division”.

Through the EP, as moods change from song-to-song, one thing remains very clear: this feels like the start of a very promising career.
