The first few bars on Loop’s “Know Me Better” (featuring on her latest EP, “Call Me Loop”) are somewhat reminiscent to that of ABBA’s Dancing Queen. The song then goes into a more modern pop foray – but the singer-songwriter’s many, varied influences are obvious.

The rising pop star from Brixton, London has been creating a name for herself recently with her brand of pop music – it’s fun and feel good whilst also being deeply personal and, at times, introspective.

The EP shows the many sides of Loop, with opening track “As If” and “Losing Me Mind” (her most popular track to date on Spotify with 572K streams) being more R&B influenced, whilst “Little by Little” is more trap influenced, and “Know Me Better” is pop.

The cheesy line that must be said: We’re playing Loop on loop. Anyway, you probably should be too!
