Manchester has born many of the UK’s most legendary bands – spanning from The Smiths and The Stone Roses to The Chemical Brothers, Oasis and even more recently the likes of The 1975. And we’re betting on the next one in the legendary list being Pale Waves.

Signed to Dirty Hit (the label home to, among others, The 1975) the four-piece are producing indie-pop music that does more than just fill the void between The 1975-albums (we’re all very excited about ‘Music For Cars’… very excited). They’re producing music which quickly rises to the top of our list as true and utter favourites.

‘Television Romance’ (fronted by Heather Baron-Gracie – a lead signer too cool for us to even comprehend) is a song which oozes attitude and angst.

Simply put: Your parents will never understand why you like them. But that’s what it’s all about…
