Since 2007 the British Music Industry and Department for International Trade (DIT) supported by China-Britain Business Council (CBBC) have been running Trade Missions to China where a variety of UK Record Labels, Publishing Companies, Management Companies and Artists as well as other Industry Representatives have travelled to China to meet with the Chinese Music Industry. They have a week-long series of presentations from all parts of the Chinese Music Industry, with networking and bespoke meetings arranged with the aim of increasing business opportunities between the two countries.
Unfortunately due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the annual mission this year was postponed, however we plan to host an online event on 22 June 2020 which will give you an opportunity to hear from many of the speakers from the event:
