The BPI, the representative voice for independent and major record labels, today announces details of its latest training workshop in support of its commitment to increase Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) in the music industry – Going from good to great in 2023: Practical tips to help you kickstart your DE&I plans.

The online session will take place on Wednesday 23rd November, 4pm – 5.30pm.

In this final Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) session for 2022, the BPI will bring together a panel of industry guests as they share some practical, simple, quick actions they have taken to improve DE&I in their workplace. Irrespective of budget or size of organisation, there will be tips for attendees to pick up and run with. The BPI hopes the event will prove just the right place for anyone looking just to get started, reduce bias, diversify recruitment, or to create a culture of inclusion and belonging.

The event will also act as a forum for members and attendees to exchange views and ideas and to update everyone on their DE&I practices or policies they have implemented.

DE&I requires a collective effort; therefore, the workshop is designed for employees at all levels, irrespective of seniority.

The training is directed by DiVA founder and BPI Equity & Justice Advisory Group (EJAG) member Arit Eminue.

This free event is open to all BPI and AIM members as well as to other music industry associates. Tickets can be booked here.
