The BPI and Music Ally are pleased to announce an on-going joint series of seminars together tailor-made and put together for independents designed to assist, guide and inform them in specific areas of business. The BPI is the largest UK Trade association, with 400+ members, accounting for approximately 90% of all recorded music sold in the UK. Music Ally has been delivering marketing and management training across the music industry and related companies from a wide spectrum of backgrounds.
The first of these seminars will be on International Licensing, with particular reference to preparation for the January 2011 MIDEM event (January 22/26th). Often UK companies attend this very important event and aren’t fully equipped to derive the maximum advantage from the international business opportunities that exist in terms of sourcing and meeting potential business partners. With a presenter cast list that includes executives from MIDEM, labels that have made successful deals @ MIDEM and international specialists, the purpose of the seminar is to directly and practically address this skills gap and help you make the very most of MIDEM.
THE SEMINAR TAKES PLACE AT THE BPI OFFICE IN WESTMINSTER THURSDAY 4TH NOV. 2.30-4.30
(Riverside Building, County Hall, Westminster Bridge Road, London SE1 7JA)
NO ADMISSION/REGISTRATION CHARGE
