What the UK trade press had to say of the 2010 mission:

Music Week: “The BPI led trade mission returns to Los Angeles providing UK companies with unrivalled access to the world’s largest entertainment market.”

Record of the Day: “…..delegates were unanimous in their praise of the BPI programme which had managed to connect them directly with people that they could do business with.”

What some of the 2010 mission delegates had to say:

Ross Graham (Free Range Music): “The BPI Trade Mission to Los Angeles was an exceptionally well planned and well executed trade development initiative……instigating what I believe will be very fruitful and financially rewarding long term partnerships with the LA industry”.

Mark Dowling (Absolute Marketing and Distribution): “I really enjoyed the mission which helped to create new relationships as well as cement existing ones. The panellists on the trip were first class and I was already receiving emails about our music whilst still in L.A.  I’m very confident we will secure sync’s as a direct result of the trip”.

Jennie Wallace (Penny Black): “The UKTI/BPI mission to LA was a very well put together and high end programme which gave unique access to some of the key decision makers in the sync world of film, TV and gaming.  We were able to build on existing relationship and develop new ones”.

Grahame Maclean (NorthStar Music): “been on the Mission twice now and it’s proved very successful.“
