OPEN MEETING 02/03/11 - BPI TRADE MISSIONS 2011
The BPI programme of international trade missions in 2011 will cover the world and are specifically designed to help all independent UK music & related companies enhance their knowledge, their contacts and ultimately their business in the vitally important area of international revenues.
In this year’s 2011 programme it is planned to stage 3 separate trade missions;
June 6th-8th Los Angeles Sync Licensing
September - date tbc, major European market mission
October 4th-6th Japan Trade Mission
Although there is plenty of material in the trade press to read up on concerning the topic of the BPI international trade missions, there’s nothing like finding out direct from the organisers & experienced delegates. For questions, enquiries and comments on any & all of the events, the BPI are holding an open meeting for those companies and individuals that are considering going on any of the above missions. Anybody is welcome to attend, if they have an interest.
Facing the firing squad will be;
• Julian Wall, BPI Director International Events.
• Phil Patterson, UKTI Music Specialist (UKTI have always been our partner in delivering the event programme and can also help look into any possible funding for companies participating in these international trade missions).
• Previous mission delegate companies
The event will be held at the BPI office in Westminster on Wednesday 2nd March 2011 from 1.00-2.30. If you would like to come, please register your interest by emailing
debi.blackgrove@bpi.co.uk putting “Open Meeting- BPI Trade Missions 2011” in the email header.
Entrance is open to all interested parties, but space is limited so it will be first come, first served.
