The BPI offers a variety of tools and support for its label members. As well as being an important resource for annual and monthly statistics, the BPI hosts a variety of regular member events, business seminars and training courses. These are essential for members to stay up to date with the rapid changes taking place in the music market and legal and technological developments.
Legal advice is available from the BPI legal team on specific matters relating to key relationships and agreements with other music industry bodies, such as PPL/VPL, the Musicians’ Union and PRS For Music. All members have free access to all BPI-compiled statistics and they benefit from discounts to access Official Charts Company data. The annual BPI conference gives members the opportunity to set out their concerns to the various BPI committees and to elect representative members, ensuring that all voices are heard.
