Getting Your Music Online

The BPI ran a 2005 campaign to help its independent members get their music online in time for the launch of the UK's download chart.

As part of the campaign, the BPI, in conjunction with CatCo and The Official UK Charts’ company, also produced a free guide to help independents get their singles online.

The BPI also arranged a series at seminars aimed at bringing the leading companies in digital distribution in contact with the record industry, ahead of the merger of the physical and digital singles' chart in April 2005.
