A singer and songwriter, arranger/conductor, producer/label owner, Mike Batt is a colourful character in the business of music.
At 19 he was head A&R for liberty/UA and went on to write and sing nine hits for the Wombles. He has conducted many of the world's great orchestras and concerts. His writing and production credits include Bright Eyes, A Winters Tale, I Feel like Buddy Holly, Please Don’t Fall In Love, All Around My Hat and Lilac Wine amongst many.
A few years ago he formed Dramatico, through which he has managed and guided Katie Melua, who has sold 10 million albums worldwide and who in 2008 was the most successful UK female artist in the world. Mike wrote many of her hits incuding the Closest Thing to Crazy and Nine Million Bicycles.
